Muskie Adventure Tours Opening Weekend At The Res
First trip of the year, Opening weekend at the Res. Cold and alittle SLOW!! We arrived at our spot before 4am and the Res was already buzzing. Around 4:30 the Boats were out checking the shore line for early birds!!! Glad we didn't jump the clock. Saturday the first bite and fish were landed at 5:30 am 4.3 lb laker 24 inches not bad. AEM had a few more bites and runs with 1 more Laker being taken. On Sunday we arrived at the same time and the same spot with the same results 1 bite and fish at 5:30 am 3+lb Laker 20+ inches better than nothing Eastciderider had a Big run around 715 and that was it. Nothing like last year, but its fishing not Christmas. Great job to everyone that landed fish, it will only get better from here. Keep your head up Badlarry, tomorrow is just a few hours away!!! hahahaha

better luck next time. so i got a question? when can you actually be on the property and when can you start throwing baits? lol reason i ask is cause i called and asked a ranger when i could be there fishing and he told me on the property no earlier than an hour before sunup (which would be 5) and fish at sunup (which was shortly after 6) i waited in the parking lot til 5 then walked a half hour to my spot and waited til about 6 to starts soakin baits but i see everyione on this site that went has pics posted of them holding fish and its still dark out haha! was i the only sucker that sat around til i saw sun starting to rise ? lmfao! no biggie cause i had a great day and got my first couple lakers but im going back this sunday and im not gonna wait around til sun up if i dont have to. also i find it odd that although i saw one boat around 9 am not once did a ranger come anywhere near us all morning
