Sawgrass Lake is a lake in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is one of the lakes that form the St. Johns River. The lake is difficult to get to without the boat ramp on the west shore of the St. Johns River, located immediately on your left after you cross the river on U.S. Route 192. The size of the lake is less than 1,000 acres (4 km²) because of the low velocity of the river and it's located near the rivers headwaters. It is only 4 miles (6.4 km) in diameter. The lake adjoins the Indian Fields. The lake is only 3 miles (4.8 km) downstream to Lake Washington, the county's largest lake.
